Appalachia: Wildflowers of Kentucky, Music by Enya

Wildflower photos taken while I walked through woods, along streams and roadsides. In my journeys, they would often catch me by surprise, growing in rocky outcrops or even shaded from the sun. Wildflowers grow where they choose and are not tended by anyone we see. Like the Appalachian People they are independent yet shy. They are often overlooked by those closest to them and forgotten by travelers. They deserve to be seen in their beauty. Music is by Enya, "Only Time" such a fitting piece for this time in my life.
